Edward Jenner was born in the year of 1749 in Western England. For many years, Jenner trained as a surgeon and a pioneer of vacine research at St. Georges Hospital. He practiced there for many years. His main goal is to cure the disease of smallpox and cowpox and also, he wants to link them together. Finally,in 1772, Jenner graduated from St. Georges Hospital. Throughout his life he has been working sucessfully to cure these diseases. It wasn't until 1796, Jenner cured an eight year old boy from smallpox. Jenner finally found a cure for smallpox and later cured cowpox. But, sadly Edward was never married, it is so sad. Most sadly, in 1823 Edward Jenner died in his home. One of the best scientist who cured two diseases has died. But, no one knows his cause of deathand no one ever will.
